There are plenty of carparks including an NCP car park, the Capital shoping center car park and others ones further away from the station.
There are bus services operated by Veolia and Stagecoach to Cardiff.
There are rail services operated by Arriva Trains Wales to Queen street (very regular service).
There are toilets at the station, a Newsagents and a cafe. There is also a KFC/McDonalds and other restaurants in Queen street itself.
There are hotels situated around the city one of which is the Mariott near to Cardiff central station. - trains can be viewed from this location at Cardiff central station.
Due to the north south nature of the line it will favour mid day shoots. Nothing really passes at great speed.
