From the A48 Gloucester - Chepstow road take the turning signposted Grange Court. At the T junction turn right, and the bridge is around half a mile further on.
You can park in the entrance to the old station driveway.
Stagecoach run buses from Gloucester to Chepstow. You would have to alight on the A48 and walk around a mile and a half.
The Junction Inn is next to the bridge.
Should be some B&Bs in the local area, nearest probably in Westbury-on-Severn or Cinderford.
Line runs north-south on a gentle curve. Southbound trains can be seen in plenty of time, northbound ones can creep up on you a bit.
Not much in the way of background noise, although there is a sawmill across the fields which can occasionally be heard. Otherwise only passing tractors.
