Owing to the flooding the travel information is in flux. The A597, A5086 and A596 bridges are closed. See the

From the South, M6 Junciton 40:Follow A66 towards Cockermouth. In Cockermouth you need to turn onto A595 for about a mile then A594 to Maryport. This will get you into Maryport near the station. The A596 is the road that will get you to the other locations.
Option 2 using side roads - If A66 is closed or very busy
From the M6 Junction 41:Take the B5305 to Wigton until it crosses A595 then turn Left towards Maryport. At Mealsgate take the B5299 to Aspatria and join the A596 as above.
From the North, M6 Junction 44:Take the A7 towards Carlisle, then the A595 from Carlisle City centre. Once at Thursby take the A596 and follow this road all the way.
