Parking on Moss Street at Daisyfield level crossing is straightforward.
But parking on the bridge is possible and will keep your car in sight.
From Blackburn railway station go forward past the bus station and then turn right walking towards Accrington. This becomes Eanam Street. At the roundabout turn right towards Accrington then left into Bancroft Street and left again onto Birley Street. The bridge is on Birley Street.
For Daisyfield Station itself leave the bridge and walk along Pickup Street. Turn right at the end of the street into Daisy Street. Continue along Daisy Street, which becomes Moss Street. The level crossing is on Moss Street.
Few amenities nearby other than local corner shops and a pub next to Daisyfield level crossing.
From the bridge you can only shoot loco hauled trains arriving in Blackburn from the east. DMUs in either direction although a low rising sun may be a problem from the east. At the level crossing, although it is rather cramped, pictures can be taken in either direction depending on where the sun is.
