Road directions
From Wareham town centre take the B3075 to Poole and Sandford. You will cross the railway in Wareham and come to a roundabout immediately after the bridge. Take the second exit. Carry along this road until you come to a junction which has a set of Traffic Lights with a garage on the left hand side. You will need to turn right into Station Road. Once in this road, carry along it until you come to the railway station.
**Remember, from Wareham this is a 40mph speed limit with Speed Cameras**
From Poole head for the A35 Upton Bypass and head along this road until you come to the Bakers Arms roundabout. Take the first exit and you will be on the A351. Stay on this road until you come to a junction which will have a Garage on the right with a set of Traffic Lights. Turn left into Station Road and head along this road until you come to the Railway Station.
Parking
There is a very small car park at the station.
Public transport
The only public transport is the Railway.
Amenities
There are no shops near the station, but there is a Londis on Sandford Road heading towards Wareham.
Accommodation
There are many Hotels and B&Bs in the Poole and Wareham area.

Photographic notes
This location is very good for shots of trains coming from each direction. You will have plenty of warning for trains coming as the announcement will be sounded for stopping and non stopping trains. Morning shots would be better looking towards Wareham and afternoon shots would be better for trains coming from Poole. On special occasions, this location can get crowded and it produces very nice shots.
