Road directions
From Redcar follow the A174 signed Loftus, Skinningrove, until you enter the village of Carlin How, the location is on your left. From Whitby, once again follow A174 signed Loftus, once through the small Town of Loftus continue until you come to the Village of Carlin How, go through the village and the location is on your right as you leave it.
Parking
The best place to park your car is in the village - in a street, as parking near the location may possibly cause congestion, there are no official car parks, but you would be within 1 to 4 minutes walk of the location.
Public transport
Public Transport in the form of the Arriva Bus Company run through the village from towns like Middlesbrough, Redcar, Saltburn and Whitby - unfortunately I cannot give any service numbers.
Amenities
No Public Toilets exist, but there are 2 pubs and a club within the village! Eating, Carlin How has a very good chippy in the village (not hard to find by asking any passer by) and also during daylight hours a mobile Snack Bar is situated on the Working mans club Car Park + shops on the same row sell many types of Snacks, if a propper meal is required then Saltburn offers more in the way of traditional Cafe and restaurant facilities.
Accommodation
No known accommodation in the Village But Saltburn has 2 Hotels and various B&Bs that are easy to find.
Photography and Videography is on a equal footing, only very early on or late on in the day is the Sun any problem, other than that Photography is ok for both directions, although Trains travelling from Cleveland Potash are quite near to your position, so a reasonable Telephoto /Zoom lens is recommended and take your pictures before it gets too close.
