Roughly midway between Bodmin and Liskeard on the A38 the left turning is just after the Trago mills (if you are heading towards Bodmin). Follow the road up the steep hill for about 1/3rd of a mile and you will reach a bridge carring the railway, either park here or continue up the road for another 500 yards.
The shot is situated just off the A38 Liskeard to Bodmin road. Directly after passing Trago Mills on your left, (heading towards Bodmin) take the turning left up a narrow road. After about a quarter of a mile and passing under a railway bridge, you go about 500 yards further where there are some parking places. The shot is taken off the bank back down the road a little way. you will see the viaduct as you walk back towards the bridge you came under.
The road has a few laybys and field turn offs where you can park. But these are limited.
Western Grayhound Service 593 serves Trago Mills from Liskeard Post office which is about 5-10 minutes walk from the railway station, north up Station Road, left onto Windowe Road and then across the Mini Roundabout.
There is nothing at the location.
The nearby Trago Mills has a picnic area, "Keg and Kettle" lakeside restaurant aviary tea room or Fit 'T' Bust takeaway. Enjoy an "Early Shopper" breakfast open 9.00am 7 days -a- week from only £1.99!

The line at this point is running pretty much west to east. With only an eastbound shot then the best time for direct sun light will be be between about 09:00 and 12:00. You are also on a hillside which will affect direct light.
