A new mobile site has been ceated. Whilst this page will remain you may find
Trainspots mobile better suited to a smart phone.
Parking can easily be found in the area although you have restrictions or you have to pay and display.
There are public toilets in Sydney Gardens and plenty of catering facilities in Bath City Centre.
The light is at its best from around 14:00 onwards. An ideal time for photographing the local waste train. There are shadows in the evenings which can be a pain but it does not cause to many problems.
If filming please we aware that this is a family park and there will often be children playing.
The proposed fence has now been put up. It is a 'wicket & wire' fence that is completely out of character with the location. You can peer over it but it does limit the scope of any shot. In particular any hope of getting a shot of a train in a park setting is spoilt. Nice location for a back wall and Victorian bridges though.
