Road directions
From the A1
Take the Morpeth turn and follow signs for Morpeth Town centre, the station is signed posted from just off the A1. The foot crossing is about 2 minutes walk from the station to the east.
Parking
There is a small station car park but this is often full. There are nearby roads available to park on.
Public transport
Only local Arriva trains serve the station.
Railway Gen Group
North East Gen
Photographic notes
Trains do slow down when passing through Morpeth non-stop to around 50MPH due to the tight curve to the south of the station.
The crossing has the advantage over the station in that freight trains often pull up in the passing loop allowing passenger trains to pass by.
