From High Wycombe proceed up the A4010. Note the turning for Saunderton station. Continue for 2.5 miles until the road stops climbing. Take the left hand turn signposted 'Horsenden'. Stay on this road until you see the bridge.
From Princes Risborough follow the signs out of the town to the station. When it turns 90 degree right, carry on until you reach the bridge.
There is some rough grass on the east side of the bridge.
The walk from Princes Risborough Station takes about 10-15 minutes. Walk down the station drive and then turn right (Picts Lane) until you reach the bridge.
No facilities in immediate vicinity. Local facilities in Princes Risborough town centre about 20 minutes walk away.
None in immediate vicinity. Aylesbury might offer wider choice.
Being on a north south axis the location offers reasonable views of southbound trains for most of the day. A telephoto will let you use capture the curve at the station. The trees in the near vicinity of the bridge cause shadows in the early morning and evening.
Because of the sun views of northbound trains are best in the morning. In the afternoon or evening the sun is better for the southbound line, offering a going away shot. However trains that terminate at Princes Risborough or need to access the Aylesbury branch (binliners) will cross over from the down to the up line just in front of the bridge. Freights and trains that stop at Princes Risborough would offer the best opportunities for videos.
