Road directions
From the M5, Junction 29:
Follow the A3015 into, and through, Exeter City Centre. You will pass over Exeter Central Station. When you do this at the end of the bridge there is a mini roundabout. Turn right over the zebra crossing and up Blackhall Road. At the t junction with Pennsylvania Road turn left and then, about 100 yards later after the Co-Op on the left, turn right onto Powderham Crescent. This no through road leads to the station.
Parking
As above, there is no parking at or around the station.
Public transport
Frequent local train services on the Exmouth-Exeter-Barnstaple/Paignton corridors, lots of buses serve nearby Old Tiverton Road.
Amenities
Nothing in the close vicinity of the station, but Exeter City Centre has most imaginable amenities.
Accommodation
Lots of accommodation in the Exeter area, including a Premier Inn and the Great Western Hotel right outside the city's main station, St Davids.
Railway Gen Group
South West Rail Gen
Photographic notes
The line runs roughly east-to-west, both sides of the bridge provide a decent viewpoint, eastwards looking towards Blackboy Tunnel (in my opinion, the 'prime shot'), and westwards looks towards the station itself.
For videos, passengers may get in the way on the station, as it's rather small, and traffic noise may be an issue on the overbridge for prolonged sessions.
