Road directions
  • Take the A74 and A61 to the B221 in Nettetal, Germany.
  • Take exit 3-Kaldenkirchen-Süd from the A61.
  • Follow the B221 to Heier Road.
    • Parking
    You can park along the road, but take care about farm traffic, they can be very wide and take up the whole road.
    Public transport
    Take the rain from Venlo to Breyel, from the Bahnhof Breyell it is about 15 minutes walk to the location.
    Amenities
    Nothing at the location.
    Accommodation
    In Venlo they are a few hotels and B&Bs
    Photographic notes
    Being open countryside the light is good all day round.
    The crossing closes well before a train arrives which will give you plenty of notice, but no clue on direction.
