Road directions
  • Take the N225 to N325 to Emmerich and continue
  • Take the A12 and A3 to the S-Heer Str. / B220 in Emmerich, Germany.
  • Take exit 3 Emmerich from the A3 fllow signs Emmerich.
  • Follow the B8 to the Bahnhofstrasse.
  • Parking
    There is a car park at the station but this is often full.
    Public transport
    From the Netherlands Nijmegen railway station there is 'bus line 52' to Ememrich, the trip take about 1 hour 20 minutes and can cost up to €10.
    There is no direct train connection from the Netherlands and Emmerich. But there is a local RE train from Oberhausen that runs every 30 minutes.
    Amenities
    There is a little shop in the station where you can buy coffe and sandwiches, 15 minutes walk from the station there is an McDonalds.
    Photographic notes
    You can take pictures from platform 1,2,3, in the morning and afternoon are both good for taking pictures, you can walk allong the station the the DB depot, if you walk there you can ask if you can take pictures, normaly no problem
    From platform 2 you can walk to the car park and go along side the railway lines but take care around here.
