Photographic notes
Sun is low early morning and the station is extremely shadowy, from 10:30-11:00 onwards, the sun comes round far, and high enough and is very good for shots in both directions, In winter from 15:00 onwards, the sun is positioned at an angle where only trains heading towards London are phottable as you are looking straight into the sun for trains heading towards Witham, and Colchester. The Light is generally good. For videographers, the station is generally very quiet, although the noise of the A12, and the nearby dairy is vaguely audible if the wind is blowing in the wrong direction.
