There is a station car park but that usually fills up quite quickly before the morning rush hour and the platform over looks it. Street parking is available nearby.
There is a Cafe on the station which is open daily, Toilets on the station are usually locked but station staff or the cafe staff will be able to give a key to use them.
The light is generally good during the daytime. Sometimes in the morning shot towards Preston can get tricky same as the afternoon shots towards Poulton can be tricky. I would stand on the Holts Lane side during the morning before moving over the crossing to the other side in the afternoon.
