There is a small car park on the Potsdam bound platform side.

DB S bahn serve this station on the line between Berlin Ost and Potsdam via Schönefeld approximately every 30minutes.

Take pictures from the Potsdam bound platform. Sun favours you between approximately 11:00 to 18:00.
As freight uses the middle roads there is not too much of a problem with pictures. For shots coming from the West you are better off using the West end of the station.
There is a field to the East of the station you can use for photos too.

If filming be aware the car park is often used for motorcycle training.
