There is free parking spaces at The Strathspey Railway Car Park. There is also a Pay and Display Car Park beside the Police Station which is in the Town Centre.
There is plenty trains from Glasgow Queen Street, Edinburgh and a daily GNER service from London Kings Cross and the Caledonian Sleeper from London Euston.
ScotRail timetables can be found
here.
There are also buses from Glasgow, Edinburgh and also Inverness. They are
Scottish Citylink services 957, 995, 997. There is also Highland Country Buses services 15 and 35.There are toilets in the station and are free of charge. The nearest chip shop is Smifys which is beside the shopping centre on the Main Street. There is also a Tescos which is also on the Main Street.
There are a few Bed and Breakfasts in Aviemore and there is also the
Cairngorm Hotel which is across the road from the Railway station.
The best place in the Station would be a set of black steps at the north end of platform 1. The footbridge is also a good location as you can get good photos of the trains arriving and departing.
