From the A12 and follow signs to Kelvedon, then come off the A12 motorway and follow the signs to Kelvedon Town centre, the station is clearly signposted.
There is a large car park that is never full, CCTV cameras operating in the car park.
From London Liverpool street, One Great Eastern trains stop there every 30 minutes. However One Anglia trains do not stop at Kelvedon.
There are toilets on the station. The town centre is no more than a minutes walk away with plenty of shops and takeaways.
There are a few hotels and bed and breakfasts close to the station.
The lighting is good most of the time but in the winter, the sun is lower and may affect photos of trains heading towards Colchester and Norwich.
Footbridge provides good views of trains heading in both directions.
