Middlebrook Retail Park and Horwich Parkway station are well signposted from Junction 6 of the M61.
There is a car park at the station and also a very large car park at the retail park.
Very well served by both buses from Bolton and twice hourly by train to Horwich Parkway.
There is a pub near the station and an ASDA supermarket in the retail park.
There is a hotel also near the station adjacent to the Pub.
There is a footbridge immediately north of the station which gives good views of trains heading towards Manchester especially dinner time to early afternoon. Late afternoon the sun starts to favour north bound trains heading through the station. The footbridge can be reached by the public footpath which goes through the station car park and out at the north end of it.
