Road directions
From the M5 join the A44 and head towards Pershore and Evesham take your first right before entering Drakes Broughton and follow the country lanes taking your first right and then next left around 3 miles from the main road you will come across a level crossing, there are actually two level crossings following the road down to the second one will offer you better views of the line.

Alternatively
From M5, Junction 7:
Head for Pershore on the B4084.
After passing through the village of Stoulton, turn right signposted Wadborough.
After entering Wadborough turn left at the T junction, this takes you down to the crossing.
Parking
You can park in the Network Rail access gateway without blocking the gate, a couple of cars can park here.
Public transport
You should be able to get a bus from Worcester to Wadborough, then around 3/4 mile walk.
Amenities
There is a pub in Wadborough village,about 1.5 miles from Pirton, otherwise Worcester or Pershore.
Accommodation
A local pub offers B&B. The nearest town offering accommodation is Pershore, which is 5 or 6 miles away. Worcester has a large selection of accommodation.

Photographic notes
Light remains fairly good throughout the day up until late afternoon when shadows will impair good shots. Views of both the up and down lines are great. Being rural there is very little in the way of noise interference apart from the odd tractor and car using the crossing.
