Road directions
Take the A6 north from Preston and junction 1 of the M55 (close to it's junction with the M6) towards Garstang. You will pass through Broughton, Bilsborrow and Brock before skirting the edge of Garstang. The road heads down a long straight, passing over a bridge, through some traffic lights, and past the Crofter's Hotel on the left. A road comes in from the right, from Garstang, and you need to take the next turning on the right, signposted to Scorton. Follow Gubberford Lane until you cross a tight bridge, and turn right immediately afterwards. At the next right hand bend of this lane you will see the industrial unit in front.
Parking
There is plenty of space to park on the side of the road before the corner, though leave room for any lorries accessing the works.
Public transport
Stagecoach services 40/41 (from Preston) and 42 (from Blackpool) pass through Garstang and along the A6 to Lancaster, passing the end of Gubberford Lane. It would be about a 20 minute walk from there.
Amenities
There are no amenities in the area, the closest can be found at either Brock or Bilsborrow.
Photos can be taken of Southbound trains both n the morning and afternoon, the time of day determining which side of the bridge to stand. Photos of Northbound trains are not really possible. Due to the noise from the M6 and the farm bridge to the north you do not get much warning of approaching trains.
