Take the A4260 (Oxford Rd) south out of Banbury. Take a left turn (signed Kings Sutton) and follow this road down the hill to the Cherwell Valley grain stores or something like. Here the road turns to the right. Park in the field entrance on the right ensuring you maintain access for farm traffic.
The road bridge is about a 20 minute walk from Kings Sutton station which is served approximately hourly from London Marylebone and two hourly from Oxford.
There are two routes to walk from the station to the bridge, one through the village and along the road, the other via a public footpath through fields and across the line at a foot crossing midway between the station and the bridge.
Theses fields can get easily flooded so following wet weather the road route is recommended.
Although shots of southbound trains are possible earlier in the day, the shot of choice is the late afternoon/evening northbound shot. It should also be noted that shots are obtainable from the field on the west side of the line in both directions, and from a crossing further south. If choosing these options please ensure you are not in anybody else's shot that maybe shooting from the bridge. Courtesy costs nothing.
