Brookwood Station is immediately adjacent to the A324 Woking to Farnborough Road, approximately 3 miles south-west of Woking.
There is a car park at the station charging £3.40 per day.
Brookwood is served by frequent rail services direct from Waterloo, Woking and Basingstoke.
Toilets are provided on the station. There is a small shop about 1/4 mile west of the station along the A324.
None in Brookwood itself but
plenty nearbyThe line heads very close to east - west with London being to the east.
In the morning up trains can be pictured from the west end of the down platform.
The best afternoon shot is of down trains, on the through line (which most are) from the east end of the down platform.
However there is a wide well tended platform on the downside, so stopping trains are also possible to photograph.
On late summer evenings it is also possible to photograph down trains from the east end of the up platform.
