The station well signposted from Salisbury ring road.
Parking at station, or nearby in city centre. Most on-street parking either metered or 'residents only'. Good security.
Regular rail services from London, Bristol/Cardiff, the South West and Portsmouth/Southampton. Good local and express bus services from Swindon, Southampton, Bath etc.
Toilets, coffee shop and cash machine on station. City centre nearby with everything you need.
Salisbury is a popular tourist destination so good choice of accommodation to suit all budgets. Local Tourist Information Center a good place to start.
Best spots are the ends of platforms 4/6 - staion is on a slight curve so you can usually take advantage of the suns position at most times of the day.
Find a place early if planning to phot one of the steam specials.
