From the A172 roundabout in Stokesley take the A173 (Signposted Great Ayton) and continue down this road for about half a mile. At the junction follow the signs for Easby, about 3 miles. In Easby follow the signs for Battersby. When you have passed through Ingleby Greenhow the turning for the station is next left.
There is a train every three and a half hours in each direction.
Great Broughton is the nearest place with a bus service (Number 89 - every 2 hours to and from Stokesley).
Trains must reverse at the station and exchange tokens so they're usually stopped for at least 5 minutes. Loco hauled trains usually run in top 'n' tail formation to avoid running round which would require the use of the ground frame.
