Drive up the A82 from Tyndrum, through the snow gates and up the hill. As you climb up you will see two large water vessels and a footbridge over the railway. This is the first layby worth stopping at. Further up there are another couple of laybys as far the summit. Beyond the summit the railway pulls away from the road.
Parking is available at a number of laybys on the A82.
Take the train to Tyndrum (upper or lower) and then it is a long walk up to County March following the West Highland Way.
Nothing at County March, but Tyndrum has a number of cafes and shops.
There are a number of locations off the A82 in this area, see the photo notes.
