Road directions
A465 from Hereford, or A40 from the south. Note, the station is away from the town centre but it is signposted. It is in the south east corner of the town.
Parking
You have to pay for the station car park, plus it is by an industrial estate with restricted private parking. You can probably park in a nearby side street though.
Public transport
Go by train from Cardiff or Crewe/Shrewsbury/Ludlow.
Amenities
The station has a toilet. There are plenty of shops in the town, but this looks to be a long walk, about 15-20mins, bound to be able to get a good bar meal from the hotel opposite the station.
Accommodation
There was a nice looking hotel opposite the station, which was probably also open to non residents.

Photographic notes
I was there on a dull day, so I could get shots in any direction, but I think looking south [towards the signal box] could be in to the sun for most of the day. South bound trains are best photographed from the end of the northbound platform. Northbound trains are best photographed from the station footbridge, light permitting.

Further views are possible by walking over the footbridge away from the station building, turning left parallel to the railway and left down a path to a foot crossing just past the station platforms. There is also a further footbridge to the north of the station.

You could get some good film from the station footbridge, but it is quite narrow and easy to get in someones way, plus it can be busy with people walking by. The northbound platform is quite long and away from people, but it backs on to houses so you may get some lawn mowers going off on a fine summers day!
