A new mobile site has been ceated. Whilst this page will remain you may find
Trainspots mobile better suited to a smart phone.
Take the A142 from Ely (the road past the station) towards Newmarket. After a couple of miles you will see a right turn to Barway. Keep going straight, and you will find yourself at the crossing.
Take the Stagecoach X12 (Cambridge - Newmarket - Ely) and alight at the turning on the main road.
There is nothing at the site and Barway village has no shops at all. The nearest facilities are in either Soham or Ely.
Trains heading in the Ely direction provide the best angle from this location. There is also a side road to Soham that turns off by the Crossing. You can either walk or drive down this road to get a picture of south/east bound traffic.
