Road directions
Follow the M23 from the M25 (signs to Gatwick), carry on along the motorway and it is easily signposted from two junctions on. Follow the A264 and take the road towards Horsham Industrial Estate. The station is then signposted.
Parking
There is a pay and display car park round the back of the station, or a Park and ride into the town centre and a bus service to the station.
Public transport
There are regular trains from London (Victoria), Gatwick, Three Bridges, Portsmouth, or buses serving the local area.
Amenities
There are toilets on the station, and a small shop on the concourse and a pub just outside the station. There is a Tesco Express 10-15 min walk away (over the bridge and straight on) or several buses into the town centre where there are fast food outlets and two supermarkets. Also, there is a small cafe in the nearby park, next to the Council Offices.
Accommodation
The Kings Head hotel in Horsham, and several in nearby Crawley or Gatwick.
The road bridge offers the best view of Down (southbound) trains, plus a view of the old yard. The light is good throughout much of the day, and all angles are available. From the platforms, the straight section to the south is good.
