Road directions
From the A47/A140 interchange: Exit left onto the A140 and head into Norwich. At the first roundabout take the 4th left onto Ipswich Road. After crossing the railway turn right onto Hall Road and continue to the next roundabout. Take the 3rd exit, left onto Barrett Road and follow to the next roundabout. Take the 2nd left onto Bracondale and then right onto King Street. Morrisons should be near you here. Follow this road round and the station is on the right
Parking
The station has a reasonable sized car park and also there is a 1500 space multi-storey over the road.
Public transport
The number 25 First Group bus runs every 20mins as well as a regular service by the Norwich Orbital Bus. All busses stop on the station forecourt and end up back at the Norwich City Bus Station were you can connect with other bus services. One and Central trains run regular services to Norwich.
Amenities
The station itself has a number of shops including WHSmith, Budgens and Upper Crust (be warned, its very expensive!). A waiting room is provided as well as public toilets and a customer service office. The BTP also have a strong presence here. In the immediate area, there is a bowling alley, cinema and all manor of food outlets and restaurants.
This authors preferred location while at the station is at the end of platform 1/2, which offers a good all-round view of trains departing and arriving. The light is good all day, but being Norfolk, it is prone to rain! Also, remember to ask at the office before you go onto the platforms and please be polite!
