Bagillt is located about 2 miles west of Fflint on the A548. Heading west you will run alongside the railway and will see a footbridge on the right by some small industrial units/scrap yards followed by the railway separated from the road by a small inlet from the estuary.
There is room to park by the footbridge, though you will have to U-turn further up due to this being on a dual-carriageway section of the road. Cars should be perfectly safe and you will never be too far away from it anyway.
There are no amenities near the locations; however there are shops and a McDonalds in Fflint a short drive away.
Arriva services 11/11A operate every 30 minutes between Chester, Fflint, Prestatyn and Rhyl. The buses use the 'old road' through Bagillt village and do not directly pass the location. Alight in Bagillt and walk to the main A548 road.
The light is reasonable here at most times of day for different directions: In the morning the light will be best from the footbridge for trains heading towards Chester whilst in the afternoon it will be best from by the road for Holyhead direction workings. Sun will be side on around midday.
