Road directions
Drive to New Malden station, under the railway bridge and take the next right (if you get to the Shell garage you went too far!!), this is Alric Avenue. The bridge is opposite the allotments.
Parking
Park in Alric Avenue, it is difficult to get a space in Dukes Avenue (on the other side of the bridge). It should be safe to leave your car, it is a very quiet area.
Public transport
Take a train to New Malden station, walk to the mini roundabout and turn left (into Dukes Avenue) so you are parallel with the line. The bridge is on your left after a short while.
Amenities
New Malden has plenty of restaurants and coffee places, there is a McDonalds, and the station has a shop for snacks and coffee.
Railway Gen Group
South East Gen
Photographic notes
Photos best looking northbound in the evenings and southbound in the daytime, Videographers should have no problems, only other bridge users!
The bridge parapets are quite high, videographers would need a tall tripod to get over the top. Photographers may be alright on 'tip toes' or steps wouldn't hurt. The area by the bridge sides is also grass rather than pavement so will be muddy in/after wet weather.
