Road directions
From the M4, Junction 25a:
Join the A4042 until you reach Croecyceiliog roundabout (near Gwent Crematorium). From their, there is a road that goes straight to Cwmbran station called 'Edlogan Way'.
Parking
Adjacent to Platform 2 their is a free 200 space car park with CCTV, also there are many other free car parks in the town centre which is in the close vicinity.
Public transport
The Southern section of the Marches Line (Newport-Cwmbran) gets a half-hourly service to Cardiff Central, most Southbound trains terminate in Camarthen or Milford Haven. Northbound trains either go to Manchester Piccadilly or Holyhead, on hourly services.
There are also Express bus services run by Stagecoach in South Wales, that run from Newport (every 3 minutes) and Cardiff (every 15 minutes).
Amenities
The nearest toilets can be found in the town centre (300m walk west of the station) opposite the Bus station right in the centre of town. There are many food outlets in the nearby town eg- Starbucks, McDonalds, KFC, Pizza Hut, O`Briens, Weatherspoons and a few chip shops and a few sandwich bars. Also theres an Asda Superstore and a Sainsburys nearby as well.
Accommodation
There is a Best Western 1.5 miles south of the station.

Photographic notes
There are 2 good road bridges north and south of the station for good pictures. Also there is a footbridge connecting the 2 platforms together that is ideally places for photographing all types of traction. The light is best in the Morning.
