From Hinckley railway station, turn right into Southfield Road. Follow this road to the end, and you will notice the 'Holywell' and a 'Total' petrol station. Turn right here.
Once you have crossed the railway line, take the first left into 'The Outwoods.' This road deteriorates drastically, so it`s best to park by the timber merchants. Here, you will notice a bridge which crosses the line. However, wild vegetation growth renders this location useless. Continue walking down the track until you come to a foot crossing on your left. This is the location. You could drive down this lane, but is only suitable for vehicles which are higher off the ground. You have been warned!
Best to park by the timber merchants.
There are no amenities in the immediate area.
This is a quiet location, and would be ideal for those who wish to video. Shots can be taken from both sides of the crossing and in both directions, but the sun (if out) can obviously dictate the best shots available.
