Road directions
From the M6 junction 35:
Proceed down the short A601(M) onto the A6 northbound towards Kendal. At the next roundabout fork left onto the A6070 and continue for several miles, through the village of Burton-in-Kendal until you come to a left hand turn onto the B6384 towards Holme and Milnthorpe. You will pass through the village of Holme then will see the railway on the left. Turn left shortly after passing, across a field, a green footbridge and this leads you to the overbridge.
Parking
There is room for 3-4 cars to park around the top of the bridge, otherwise you will need to park near the bottom of the lane at the junction with the B6384.
Public transport
Stagecoach operate an hourly bus 555 between Lancaster, Kendal and Keswick which passes the bottom of the lane.
Amenities
There are no amenities in the vicinity of the bridge.
