From Deal, head south on the Dover road (A258). As soon as you leave Deal, and the area is no longer built up, you should notice a right hand turn to Ripple. Take this road. You will soon come to some cross roads. Turn right here. You should see a row of trees ahead of you. The footpath runs alongside these trees.
There is room to park 2-3 cars on the side of the road here, just to the right.
The nearest train stations are Martin Hill, and Walmer, the latter can just be seen in the distance from this location.
There is nothing at the location itself, but there are plenty of pubs and shops in Deal and a good choice of pubs in the surrounding villages.
On sunny days, good northbound shots are only really obtainable in the early hours, but shots of southbound workings can be had for most of the day here.
