Road directions
If you are coming from Brighton on the A27 follow signs to Worthing and at Grove Lodge roundabout turn left and the right and left again and carry on over both mini roundabouts and continue straight on down south farm road. Carry straight on towards station past Worthing High School and towards the level crossing. Turn left over the level crossing and the station is down the short and narrow road.
Parking
There is a car park to the north of the station but this is a pay and display at certain times of the day but is a reasonable price. Most back streets are also a pay and display in the town centre and the south side of the level crossing. But there are free parking slots on the north side of the station down various streets which are within walking distance.
Public transport
Train: Worthing is the main station serving the town and all trains stop here from places like Brighton, London Victoria, Littlehampton, Chichester, Portsmouth, Southampton, Bristol etc. so there are direct rail links from most major cities and towns.
Bus: If you were to get the bus here it would be difficult to get onto the platforms as there is ticket barriers, and staff checking tickets most hours of the day. The station staff may allow you on the platform without a ticket if you kindly ask permission or alternatively you could buy a platform ticket.
Amenities
There are toilets on both sides of the station. There are also toilets in the town centre as well as many restaurants and shops. There are a few small shops nearby if you don't feel like walking into the town centre to get something to eat or drink.
Accommodation
There is plenty of accommodation in the town centre and on the seafront.
Light is mainly good all year round and has good places to take photos such as the nearby road bridge for overhead shots. The sun may prohibit photos in the evening or some days in the summer. You can shoot photos of trains coming in both directions. The best available angles for taking pictures are the overhead shots from the nearby bridge as you have a full view of the station.
