Road directions
From the M6, Junction 34: Take the A683 (Caton Road) heading towards Lancaster, you will then reach a Junction of (A6) Parliament Street, at this junction you want to go straight across and go over the River Lune on the A589 Greyhound Bridge Road and follow this road along the side of the river joining Morecambe Road now keep on this road until you come to a Roundabout with the B5321 Lancaster Road. From here you want to join the B5321 and head for Morecambe Town Centre which is the second exit, this road will take over the railway just to the east of the Heysham Junction, and the road now turns into Euston Road, next turn off you want to use it Euston Grove (B5274), this will take you back over the railway, soon as you cross the railway you turn left into Battismore Road follow this road down the T junction at the end and turn left and the crossing is right in front of you from there.
Parking
Parking for this location can be found at a Morrisons Supermarket just outside the station, from there there is a footpath that runs alongside the railway to the location.
Public transport
Trains run often between Lancaster-Morecambe and are operated by Northern. For details on the buses visit here this should help you on that front.
Amenities
The nearest amenities can be found in the centre of Morecambe, there is a Morrisons supermarket situated opposite the station, There is also a KFC in the same area.
The location is great for trains heading into Heysham and has good sunlight providing it is out around early afternoon.
If you coming by train for the flasks the 13:22 train off Lancaster is the latest train, at the time of writing, you can use to enable you to sdee them, but the train goes to Heysham so what i did was used to unit to Heysham and got off at Morecambe on the return run to waste time then i only had to wait 20 mins, since that unit goes to Heysham no other trains can move past Bare Lane as it is Single Track so that puts a stop to the flasks from moving. Acknowledge the driver when he toots since you are best to take shot from other side of gate.
