Road directions
Heading on the A5 bound for North Wales, take the first exit at Baileys Island onto the A49 (Hereford Road). After passing through Bayston Hill, the lane is tucked away on the left before a lay-by.
Parking
You car can be parked, considerately, on the bridge or road. There is little traffic.
Amenities
There is a Chinese take away on the A49 on the right going South about 200 yds before Burgs Lane. In the village less than a mile away there is a Spar supermarket, Post Office, Bakery, Chemist, Chip shop, Indian take away, Butchers and fruit and veg store.........
Accommodation
A few Bed and Breakfasts can be found dotted around Bayston Hill.
Light is perfect in the morning, for trains heading south. Trains heading north are photable, but not very good. Trains heading south are on a curve, providing a great angle. Shoot on the outside of curve.
