There is a bus service from Cardiff operated by
Veolia.
Arriva trains Wales operate a service from Cardiff Central, there are 3 different services you can catch to get to Pontypridd either, Treherbert service, Merthyr service or the Aberdare service.
There are toilets located in the station area. There are plenty of places to buy food in the town.
There is a
Travel lodge located on the outskirts of Aberdare near the ASDA food store. Take the Aberdare service from Pontypridd and get off at Cwmbach, The travel lodge will be visible through the trees.
There are also plenty of hotels at Cardiff as well.
You can picture trains in both directions. The sun does prohibit angles in the east and west when it is rising and setting.
