New Mobile Site
We have just launched a new mobile version of this site - m.trainspots. This page will use your smart device's GPS to loctate you and guide you to locations that are close to your present location.
Location notes
Saint Michel Sue Orge is situated in the south of Paris on the line towards Orleans.
Railway type and traffic
This line links Paris with Orleans which are mostly loco hauled trains operated by ?Sybic? class 26000 and Broken Nose class 7200 French electric.
Freight is not so common but you should see a few during the day.
Environment
St Michel Sur Orge station has a station building on the Paris bound platform.
The station itself never gets so busy as the frequency of passenger trains calling here is around every 15 minutes in either direction. You do see some intersting characters using the station and taking advantage of the flimsy ticket barriers, so be mindful of your surroundings.

Photographic notes
The early afternoon is good for sunlight here standing on the Paris bound platform. As loco hauled and freight usually use the centre roads you are able to photograph in each direction however if you want ?perfect? sun then Southbound is best.
