New Mobile Site
We have just launched a new mobile version of this site - m.trainspots. This page will use your smart device's GPS to loctate you and guide you to locations that are close to your present location.
Location notes
Attadale is located on the scenic Inverness - Kyle of Lochalsh line.
Railway type and traffic
Scotrail DMUs provides the usual motive power for the route.
There is no booked freight workings.
The line is popular route for enthusiast specials.
In a very sparse part of the Highlands and you will need to do a bit of walking on rough territory.
Road directions
Attadale is situated on the A890 and is a very small place on the banks of Loch Carron.

There is no know road transport to the location, but there is a railway station at Attadale.

There are no facilities available in the area, probably best to continue to Kyle of Lochalsh.
Kyle has a range of accommodation. Ledgowen Lodge at Achnasheen has a broad range of accommodation. It is wise to pre book.
