New Mobile Site
We have just launched a new mobile version of this site - m.trainspots. This page will use your smart device's GPS to loctate you and guide you to locations that are close to your present location.
Location notes
It is on the edge of Antwerpen with the main line with freight and Passenger trains. The station is small and quiet and feels old.
Railway type and traffic
Highspeed TGV (Thalys), international trains to the Netherlands, local trains and Freight.
Environment
This is an open station, you can get a lonely feeling, looks very old and is dirty in the tunnels between the platforms.
Road directions
From the Antwerpen city center:
  • Take Klapdorp and Horse fair to ItaliŽlei
  • Take Noorderlaan to Dublin Street
  • Continue on Dublin Street.
  • Drive to the Argentina Avenue Station Antwerpen-Noorderdokken

    Photographic notes
    In the morning the light favours trains from Antwerpen Central.
    In the afternoon the other way round, but if you not lucky you can stand there a see only a few trains.
    Best time is during the week. Freight can be shot from the abandoned platform 4.
