Location notes
This is the main station of the capital of Belgium, Brussel.
The station has two names, because the city has two languages:
- Brussel Zuid (Dutch)
- Gare du Midi (French)
Railway type and traffic
Passenger trains, High speed (ICE & Thalys), and Eurostar.
Freight is limited, but can pass by sometimes.
Environment
It is a big station with 22 platforms, and is a quite safe place, but watch out for pick-pockets.

From Antwerpen:
On the E19 follow to SchaerbeekTake the exit towards Centre / Centre from the E40.Continue on the N23.Take the R20 to the Avenue Fonsny / N265 in Saint-Gille.

There are parking places in the area but they are expensive.
