Main station at convergence of Marshlink, Hastings to Charing Cross, and Hastings to Brighton lines.
Railway type and traffic
Electric units and the odd Turbostars to the depot for servicing. No freight - any type of loco rare here. Some electrics terminate in station, some proceed to Ore, or the sidings.
Environment
Busy seaside town.
Road directions
The station is well signposted off the A21 which is the main road, from the north, into Hastings.

Low parapets, so no steps needed. Road can be a rat-run, traffic noise sometimes a problem, but not always. View towards tunnel is not terribly good except when autumnal tints make the shot a lot more attractive. Sun may be a problem early morning when looking towards station.
