New Mobile Site

Location notes
Ystrad Mynach is a small town in the Rhymney valley between Caerphilly and Bargoed on the Cardiff to Rhymney line.
Railway type and traffic
Most services on the line are operated by classes 142,143 and 150 units.
Environment
The station is a short walk from the town and is fairly busy, especially on Saturdays. To reach the town, turn right under the railway bridge, immediately left and this road will lead you into the town.
Road directions
Ystrad Mynach station is on the A472 Pontypool to Pontypridd road just west of it's junction with the A469 Cardiff to Rhymney road. The station road is immediately on the left after passing under the bridge.

There is a station car park.
Public transport
There is a regular hourly service from Cardiff, with extra trains at Peak Hours and a 30 minute frequency on Saturdays.
