Ryde is a large sea-side town on the Isle of Wight. This particular location is situated on the sea-front.

Environment
The station itself can be quite busy, as can the surrounding areas. The nearby footbridge can often be bustling with tourists photographing the Hovercrafts arriving and departing.
Road directions
From the Island capital, Newport, take the A3054 to Ryde. When you get to Ryde, head for the sea-front, and you will not be able to miss the Bus station or the Ryde Esplanade railway station.
