Road directions
The main roads into Kettering itself are the A14 and the A43. This location is an easy drive (or walk) from the train station. From the station, head up Station Road, and take the first right into Queensberry Road, you have no choice as a one-way road is ahead! You will shortly come to a junction, at which you need to turn right, into Headlands. This leads you directly to the bridge which you will see infront of you.
Parking
You can park in the residential estate in either Bishops Drive or Ostlers way, but do be considerate and do not block anyone's driveway!
Amenities
Nothing in the immediate area, but the town centre itself will cater for any needs.
Update March 2016: The old bridge has now been replaced by a high sided metal construction which means that steps, or a ladder, will now be required to take photo's of Northbound trains.
There is also a shot you can have from the grass verge further along Ostlers way, looking south. However, this is very limited and will be against the sun for the best part of the day. The nearby and noisy A43 makes this location unsuitable for those who wish to video. This is an ideal location to photograph those northbound freights in the afternoons. Shots of southbounds are also obtainable here, but the best shot is now obscured by a tree (see below)
