Road directions
The station is located on Sefton Street, and is not easy to find by car. Look for road signs with Riverside business park or Brunswick business Park. If coming in from the south, follow Aigburth Road, until you turn left onto Mersey Road, and which cturns right onto Otterspool Drive. Fro here, stay on this road, as it becomes Riverside, and at the fourth roundabout, becomes Sefton Street. The station car park is on the right.
Parking
The station has a small car park. Failing that, there is a car park nearby, at the fitness centre. From there, it is a 5 - 10 minute walk back to the station.
Public transport
Merseyrail electrics operate trains every 15 minutes Monday to Saturday, every 30 minutes Sundays. There are bus stops near the station, and indeed one service calls in at the station. These are provided by Arriva.
Amenities
There is a takeaway nearby. Come out of the station, and head left, along the road, and the take away is about 5 minutes walk. Same direction as if you're going to see the old L.O.R. tunnel.
The station is located in a semi cutting, i.e. banking on one side, clear space on the other. The station can, at times, be dark as a result. The station is located on a tight curve, due to it being between two tunnels, and so you will not get much notice of a train, though look at the information screens, as they will tell you how long it is until one arrives. Sefton Street is a main road, so there will be traffic noise.
