Crewe Station is well signposted. From the M1 southbound exit at J17, nortbound J16. If approaching from the west follow the A534 from Nantwich and this runs past the station.
The location is a car park.
The location is at Crewe station which is served by Virgin Trains, Arriva Cross Country, Northern Trains and East Midlands Trains.
There are toilets on platform 12 of the main station.
There are a couple of hotels a short walk from the station. The Royal Arms to the west and The Crewe Arms to the east with a Travel Inn to the south east of the station.
The overheads make it tricky to get good shots, but you can get some good ones in between.
If you stand on the other side of the Nantwich Road bridge, and walk down the road between the station and the avoiding lines you reach an area which is called the 'Horse Landing', then you can get great shots next to the signal box.
